San Mateo County Health COVID-19 Communications

With the projects for this urgent public information campaign, I was given text content with the objective to make straight forward, info-driven, visual communications that engages diverse audiences. I distilled longer headlines into more direct, visually engaging headlines and designed a strong visual hierarchy within the county health’s brand. I created the custom illustrations and icons by re-purposing and combining parts from a variety of individual royalty-free stock art sources for informative visual storytelling, adjusting weight, color and style for brand consistency.
